Stephanie Butnick is a founding co-host of the popular Jewish podcast Unorthodox, produced by Tablet Magazine, where she has worked for more than a decade in various writing and editing roles. She is the co-author of The Newish Jewish Encyclopedia: From Abraham to Zabar's and Everything in Between, and she helped edit Tablet's first book, The 100 Most Jewish Foods: A Highly Debatable List. She travels the country speaking to Jewish audiences and hosts an event series with the Jewish Book Council at the Jewish Museum.

She lives in New York City with her husband, Ben, and their toddler, Edith.
